Products Services: Dr Neeraj Nagpal received his medical training at Christian Medical College ludhiana and PGIMER Chandigarh.He did his graduation and postgraduation at CMC Ludhiana where he was introduced to GI Endoscopy and thereafter he joined PGIMER Chandigarh in Department of Hepatology where he received training in GI Endoscopy under expert guidance of Dr J B Dilawari & Dr Y Chawla.After leaving PGI he started Hope Gastrointestinal Diagnostic Clinic, Chandigarh in 1991 to provide open access GI Endoscopy services to patients in this region.One of the major achievements he has to his credit is to popularise the procedure of GI Endoscopy.The fear of the procedure in the minds of the people has been reduced by him through patient and primary physician education.He introduced documentation way back in 1995 providing photographic records of various endoscopic procedures.He pioneered many endoscopic procedures in private sector in the region and his achievements have been published regularily.He has dedicatedly given service to people in this region in his chosen field. He improved his skills regularily and recieved further training in therapeutic ERCP in 1997 at Asian Institute of Gastroenterology Hyderabad from Dr D Nageshwar Reddy.He is an active member of Indian society of Gastroenterolory (ISG),Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India(SGEI) and Indian Association for the Study of the Liver(INASL).He has now been accepted as member American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy for past many years.He was recently awarded Fellowship of International Medical Sciences Academy (FIMSA).He has served as Secretary of Indian Medical Association Chandigarh for two terms and President of the Association 2004-05.He also compiled two books on Medical negligence besides professional publications in international and national journals.He regularily contributes articles in national press on subjects related to medical field. He has organized many CME’s and Medical Conferences in his long career.He is a regular speaker at various Conferences at local and regional level where he has received many awards and honours.He regularily participates at national Conferences of Indian Society of Gastroenterology, INASL & SGEI .He regularily upgrades his skills by attending the various Endoscopy workshops organized over the years by Dr Amit Maydeo, Dr Randhir Sud, Dr Mahesh Goenka, Dr Ajay Kumar and Dr D.Nageshwar Reddy all internationally acclaimed doyens in the field of GI Endoscopy.He has himself performed more than 60000 endoscopic procedures including nearly all known therapeutic Endoscopy procedures to date in last 20 yrs but still considers himself a student in his field,
