About Mandir: Dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radharani, ISKCON temple is a place of worship for the followers of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness or as they are known, the Hare Krishna movement. ISKCON has since developed into a worldwide confederation of 10,000 temple devotees and 250,000 congregational devotees. Better known as the Hare Krishna movement, ISKCON is comprised of more than 350 centres, 60 rural communities, 50 schools and 60 restaurants worldwide.

Created to spread far and wide the practice of Bhakti Yoga, with thoughts and actions devoted towards the appeasement of Lord Krishna who is regarded as the Supreme Lord, it is a sprawling complex with a large number of rooms for the temple priests. Chorusing with kirtans and Hare Krishna chants, ISKCON is where people come for Lord Krishna and Radha Rani’s darshan and along the way discover their inner peace and sense of grounding. As per tradition, six aartis are offered daily by twenty four brahmanically trained priests to the temple deities and along with six corresponding bhoga offerings. A beautiful, glorious temple, it is filled to the hilt during festivals like Janmashthami with ardent followers and devotees. Towards the back of the temple is a tranquil garden, also where the temple’s guest house is situated.
